May: A Month of Celebration
Throughout the month of May, we have many people to thank, many events to share, many causes to celebrate. We will give thanks for the gift of teaching and for those who teach on May 5. We will give thanks for the gift of nurturing and relationships on May 12. On May 19 we will celebrate our Graduates. We will give thanks for the gift of the Spirit for several Sundays, beginning May 19th, the Day of Pentecost. What a wonderful month, reminding us of how blessed we are with gifts and callings, new opportunities and ongoing community.

Dates: June 17-21, 2013 Time: 5:45-8 p.m. This year we will be using a home grown curriculum through the coordinated efforts and inspiration of Darla Hollinger & Paula Viner and other gifted disciples of our church community. As usual our fun will include scripture, singing, crafts, science experiments, snacks, games and lots of fun. And lots of hands:
Hands that PRAY Hands that HEAL Hands that FORGIVE Hands that MOLD Hands the HOLD Calling all kids between ages 3 (must be potty-trained) and 5th grade to come join the fun! *6th-12th graders are invited to join in the fun as helpers - contact Martie or sign up as a youth leader on the sign-up board in the community center. |
